Leicester Museum & Art Gallery hold weekly events and workshops for young creators aged 16-25 which aim to inspire young people to explore and develop new skills through creativity!

As part of the project, I delivered two clay workshops which explored various hand building techniques from coil to slab building and how to create surface textures through imprinting and sculpting tools. The second workshops introduced the young group to different decorating techniques including slip trailing and glaze application. From bowls, to mugs, to candle holders, to sculpted hands, the group created an array of beautiful artworks!
